About the role
The Major Account Manager role involves delivering expert technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. The Internal Sales Engineer is responsible for providing timely and precise information. We are seeking an adept Major Account Manager dedicated to solution selling, with a focus on expanding our business in Queensland. Ideally based in Brisbane, Gladstone, or Townsville, candidates should possess a robust understanding of relevant products and experience in promoting Valves and Instruments within specific industries. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, display maturity and responsibility in team collaboration, and commit to achieving established budgets and targets.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver top-tier technical support to external customers.
  • Actively promote products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate professional and amicable relationships between external and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses in a professional manner.
  • Execute application engineering, sizing specs, and equipment selection based on customer data sheets and information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate valves and instrumentation servicing.
  • Assist Product Managers by conveying project status, prioritizing work, and specifying manufacturing lead times to external customers.
  • Review orders for commercial and technical accuracy, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Channel all sales and technical inquiries to the appropriate Account or Product Manager.
  • Support a harmonious and transparent working environment for all staff.
  • Coordinate quotations and address technical queries.
  • Review internal technical responses from Product Managers.
  • Provide customers with insights into the technical and commercial advantages of quotations.
  • Record quotations in the internal register.
  • Conduct periodic follow-ups on quotations under the guidance of Account and Product Managers.
  • Enter all quotations into the Sales Logics database.
  • Maintain Sales Logics by ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist Product Managers with day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Provide administrative support to the office administrator when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
