The Company:
With offices Nationally and Overseas, my client is a market leader in dewatering pumps and equipment for the mining industry. Due to consistent growth, they now require the assistance of a Mechanical Engineer, to join their engineering team, based or open to relocation to their Bathurst location.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Working with the Engineering team designing Mine Dewatering pumps and all the related engineering faculties and support that is required from concept through to production.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on engineering enquiries
  • Preparing 3D models using Solidworks
The Candidate:
  • Proficient in XL, Microsoft and general IT.
  • Experience using “Solid Works” as drawing program and CAD.
  • Some may have experience in “solid Edge” drawing software which is a similar software. Training provided if needed.
  • Understanding of fitting and turning processes and methods. Ideally some hands-on experience.
  • Understanding of welding processes and methods
  • Ability to work as a team and also un-supervised.
  • Willing to re-locate to Bathurst and own transport.
  • Australian citizen.
  • A desire to get into pump design and engineering as a long-term career
  • Also open to experienced Mechanical engineers with a background in Pumps.
