Austcorp Executive are partnering with an Australian owned company specialising in the development of a world first ROV system servicing the mining and water industries.

The team are looking to bring on board a Mechanical Engineer to join their Research and Development team to aid in the development and future improvement of their product working.

As the Mechanical Engineer your would be required to:

• Work in the R&D Team to design and develop globally unique products and systems
• Drive product improvement initiatives by analysing and optimizing existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Conduct tests and analyze results to improve product performance 
• Format well- written engineering reports and supporting documents
• Provide support to all sections of production team
• Liaison with supplies and clients

Relevant qualifications and skillset:

• A degree qualified Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer.
• 5 + years of industry experience ideally in R&D team working on ROV, Subsea or Robotic Systems
• Expert experience with Solidworks Design & Modelling (FEA, DEM, Stress Analysis etc).
• You will possess a deep understanding of hydraulic, electric and mechanical systems 
• Previous experience with ROV systems
