The Company:

My clients supply a diverse range of Capital Equipment into industries such as, construction, agriculture, defence, mining and more. They now seek a WSHSEQ Manager to manage all aspects of safety, according to legislation across 9 branches and workshops across ANZ. Based from their Sydney office.

The Role: Not limited to the below:

• To identify and monitor those aspects of the company’s activities which impact the OH&S processes
• Undertake safety investigations
• Ensure that all company quality practices are according to all ISO9001: 2000 practices
• Maintaining safety data, preparing reports, maintain registers, statistical. Review of statistics and identify trends and areas for continuous improvement
• To review, assess and recommend training packages available for company staff related to safety
• Manage and maintain, hazard inspection, manager checklist & toolbox meeting registers
• Create and maintain company safety policies and procedures
• Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Manager or Supervisor

The Candidate:

• Experience in the Machinery sector highly regarded although not essential
• Must come with 5+ years minimum experience in a similar role, with management experience or the capability to step up into a management role.
• Qualifications in OH&S Management
• Proven ability to manage OH&S policies and procedures
• Ability to drive change
• Excellent communication
• Required to be on call 24 hours a day
• Ability to develop and audit practices and policies
