This national Facilities Management Provider holds leadership in a number of niche Facilities Service streams within their well-established Trading Divisions and has been enjoying sustained growth in delivery in their Facilities Services operations across Australia.
You will hold a Diploma / Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety with at least 10 years’ experience driving Occupational Health & Safety compliance across a large portfolio of sites, including Risk Assessments, HSEQ audits, Incident Investigations - including reports and implementing recommendations.
With at least 5 years’ experience driving Health & Safety across a large facilities management contract or multi-site environment; your strong analytical skills will enable you to ensure HSE obligations to staff, sub-contractors and building occupiers and users are met.
Experience gained in a business whose staff are frontline and have a genuine risk of exposure to COVID infection is beneficial, understanding the requisite PPE, Safe Operating Procedures and Prevention / Management of Infection.
You will have excellent communication skills, an interactive style of management and consultative approach, however also able to engage with all levels of staff - frontline and management and a diverse range of ethnicities and English language ability, as a “hands-on” manager who can visit sites and lead toolbox talks.
In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing existing systems and processes, implementing enhancements, training site / area managers in their obligations and required paperwork, set-up necessary OHS reports, review data and make recommendations to Board-level.
You will ideally have worked within the Facilities Management, HVAC/M&E Maintenance or Cleaning sectors supporting Tertiary Education, Defence, Health, Retail, Major Corporate or Government clients.
