• Be responsible for overseeing and managing the operation side of the business with a focus on developing staff, introduce process improvements and be prepared to work closely with collaborative teams when priorities arise. 
• Providing clear direction to all staff for day to day tasks and maintain the Production site.
• Some of the key decision makers you will work closely with are Operations & strategic planning, Innovation, Quality, Maintenance, Finance and Senior Management.  

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a similar role within the meat industry at management level.
• In depth knowledge and experience in a fast-moving meat processing site, particularly implementing operations, planning, production and/or packaging improvements.
• High level knowledge and/or experience in the area of meat processing and knowledge of end-to-end supply in a FMCG function.

• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external parties.
• Detailed orientated ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks to meet scheduling priorities, demands and timelines.
• Lean Practitioner / Quality Assurance certification and/or a relevant Food Safety Accreditation is preferred, however not essential.
• Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
