Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all operational staff comply with safety, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Scheduling work and supervising crews diligently.
  • Organizing and managing subcontractors as needed.
  • Allocating labor and resources to maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders as required.
  • Conducting site inspections as necessary.
  • Managing vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Verifying QA documents for compliance.
  • Managing the onboarding of new team members.
  • Coordinating and approving timesheets.
  • Managing stocktaking and ordering of PPE and uniforms when necessary.
  • Handling incident management and investigations.
  • Ordering and allocating materials, stock, and equipment.
  • Approving and checking invoices.
  • Closing out work for invoicing.
The Operations Manager is also a member of the Management Team for the purposes of ISO standards.

To be successful: 
  • Surfacing/Linemarking background 
  • 5+ years operations experience 
  • good leader of people 
  • liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
