About the Role:
In this key position of Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficient processes, and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, who is still actively involved but looking to step back from daily operations, this role presents a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a leadership role, ultimately taking on more responsibility as the CEO reduces involvement.
Your expertise in fluid hydraulics and pumping systems will allow you to offer valuable technical insights, while your strong operational management skills will help drive the growth and efficiency of the business. This role offers a rare opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the overall business operations, ensuring efficient processes.
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers in relation to product applications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the CEO on the growth strategy, with the aim to take over operational responsibilities as the business expands.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is highly regarded but not mandatory; candidates with a trade or hands-on pumping background are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or operational management capacity, ideally with exposure to pumping systems in the agriculture or irrigation sector.
• Strong operational and leadership skills, with the ability to drive growth and manage day-to-day operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of key business processes.
• Self-motivated and results-focused.
