Job description

I am partnering with an Australian owned and operated company, who specialises in road infrastructure projects, with a focus on events management. Their aim is to provide 24/7 quality services with a safety-first approach with their modern fleet and accredited team.

They are experiencing tremendous growth and as a result they require an experienced Payroll Officer to facilitate payroll functions, working closely with the HR & Finance Departments

Job Requirements:
  • Setting up new Employees
  • Create rosters
  • Process payroll
  • Superannuation 
  • Resolve payroll queries
  • Undertake auditing tasks relating to employee clocking’s
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  
All About You
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Competency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to time and attendance systems
  • Excellent time management skills and a good eye for detail
  • Positive attitude and can-do approach
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Have initiative and responsibility for the role
