About the Role
The Personal Assistant/Medical Receptionist role is responsible for business growth and development.
Working closely with the Director, the PA part of the role will involve the below.
The role requires a confident person who has the ability to speak to potential and current patients and assist them with understanding the recommended treatment plans. You will have a dedication to patient care and strong communication skills (in-person, over-the-phone and written). You will be able to speak about healthcare and treatment plans. Some flexibility in working hours is required to deal with surgery schedules and patient care.
You will report directly to the Practice Coordinator and be supported by your colleagues. You will be part of a small, but close-knit, team dedicated to providing a superior experience for patients.
Benefits
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year ex Super ex Saturday
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday shifts on a rotating roster 8:30am to 2:30pm (extra 25% on Saturdays)

About the Role
The Personal Assistant/Medical Receptionist role is responsible for business growth and development.
Working closely with the Director, the PA part of the role will involve the below.
- Acting as the point of contact between the executives and internal or external colleagues.
- Organising meetings.
- Handling correspondence directed to managers
- Making travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries
- Taking dictation and minutes and writing them up subsequently
- Producing reports and presentations
- Maintaining the current filing and database system, and looking for ways to improve current systems
- Answering patient enquiries and providing information for patients and potential patients regarding their treatment options at the front of office and via telephone, email and computerised CRM
- Maintaining a computerised patient management system (PMS) by scheduling patient appointments and generating accurate invoices
- Following Medicare/billing guidelines
- Maintaining a cohesive patient workflow by scheduling appointments to make effective use of specialists’ time.
