The Company:

With offices Nationally and Overseas, my client is a market leader in the manufacturing of dewatering pumps and equipment for the mining industry. Due to consistent growth in the mining industry, they now seeking to appoint a Project/Production Professional to facilitate the smooth and timely flow of work through the factory and liaise with external suppliers and customers to deliver all the pumping requirements as per job/project schedule based in Bathurst. Must be based in Bathurst or able to relocate. 

The Role:

• Safely execute projects, throughout the project lifecycle from sales handover, to meeting customers specifications, delivery, and contractual expectations
• The Project Manager develops and maintains supply relationships with internal divisions, local suppliers, and fabricators
• Safely execute projects, throughout the project lifecycle from sales handover, to meeting customers specifications, delivery, and contractual expectations
• The Project Manager develops and maintains supply relationships with internal divisions, local suppliers, and fabricators
• Oversee all pumps the come into production and go through the production cycle.

The Candidate:

• Engineering qualifications and/or the equivalent knowledge acquired either on the tools or prior work experience
• Engineering and Project Management qualifications and/or the equivalent knowledge acquired in whatever way.
• Experience and understanding of Pumps and Pumping equipment an advantage
• Ability to liaise with customers and assure their sales order and complete packaged solution is manufactured to order in a timely manner whilst keeping them up to date with the progress of their order.
• Must be methodical, and very detailed oriented with the ability to communicate and relay information back to the customer.
• Understand the customers expectation.
