My client is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined engineering company, delivering automation, digital transformation, and critical infrastructure control and monitoring systems for leading organisations across manufacturing, infrastructure, and data centres.
Due to ongoing growth and project demand, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Engineer to take charge of a portfolio of projects in Victoria. This role suits a professional with a strong industrial automation and controls background who can also lead multi-disciplinary project teams through design, installation, and commissioning phases.

Due to ongoing growth and project demand, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Engineer to take charge of a portfolio of projects in Victoria. This role suits a professional with a strong industrial automation and controls background who can also lead multi-disciplinary project teams through design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the tendering phase of local projects as part of the bid team
- Develop design specifications, select equipment/instrumentation, and manage projects from concept through to commissioning
- Lead and coordinate project delivery teams, ensuring resolution of design, scheduling, and commercial challenges
- Create implementation plans for critical equipment installations and cutovers
- Act as the “go-to” during site installations, troubleshooting and ensuring delivery to schedule, budget, and quality
- Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Computer Systems, Software or similar) or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering engineering projects (manufacturing or infrastructure preferred)
- Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA platforms, with a solid understanding of industrial and process automation
- Proficiency with MS Office and related applications
- Software development experience highly regarded
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
