We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee each project from sales handover through to successful delivery and installation if required.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership principles, and an ability to work effectively with a variety of team members including senior management.
This job will suit an individual who has a trade background, someone who has aspirations to succeed and progress and wants to get their teeth stuck into some exciting high-end fit out projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Manage staff effectively, lead project teams to achieve project and individual goals
- Manage project expenditure and cash-flow to optimise financial outcome
- Ensure financial processes are followed especially in regard to weekly financial reporting
- Administer the head contract and subcontracts, including progress claims, variation, delay and extension of time claims in a timely manner
- Ensure adequate preparation for project finalisation with a thorough project completion plan
- Attend hand-over briefings with sales team and clients
- Organised project schedules with production and warehouse team
- Reviewing stock availability at project commencement
- Prepare purchase orders for powder-coating
- Prepare purchase orders for non-stocked components
- Liaise with suppliers and overseas procurement team for incoming shipment ETAs
- Maintain communication with client at all stages of the project journey
- Arrange shipping and logistics arrangements for outgoing projects
- Ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously
- Deliver projects on time and on budget
- Achieve tight deadlines for large corporate clients
- Experience in managing retail store rollouts is essential
- Ability to establish work schedules
- Ability to manage suppliers and sub-contracted trades to strict schedules
- An aptitude to develop, establish and nurture client relationships
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Precise attention to detail with a proven track record of following through on projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key stakeholders, clients, estimators, production managers and staff at all levels
