Project Coordinator – Digital Display Technology (Progress to PM)

Salary: $90K–$110K + Super | Start: April | Location: Perth ( or work remote from Sydney or Melbourne )

A leading Australian digital display technology company, experiencing strong growth, is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team and progress into a Project Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3+ years’ strong project coordination experience to gain exposure to innovative technology, diverse projects, and real end-to-end project ownership.

About the Role You will be responsible for managing projects from sales handover through to completion, working closely with clients, builders, shopfitters, suppliers, and internal teams. The role suits someone who takes ownership, thrives in a hands-on environment, and wants to grow into a Project Manager position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects end-to-end, taking ownership and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Raise and track purchase orders, manage deliveries, and negotiate with vendors
  • Work with shop drawings and understand how digital display technology fits into broader fit-outs
  • Assist with practical delivery tasks when required, including inventory checks, preparing shipments, and occasional installation support
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders, including senior client representatives
  • Use platforms such as Bluebeam, Odoo, and Google Workspace to streamline project management
Ideal Background
  • Minimum 3+ years’ strong project coordination experience
  • Relevant qualification in project coordination, construction, or related field is a plus
  • Background in construction, retail fit-outs, technology, or hardware deployment projects
  • Experience with digital signage or AV integration is advantageous but not essential
