Estimator / Project Coordinator Stainless Steel | Food Processing & Mechanical Projects

Our client is a respected stainless steel fabrication and mechanical engineering business delivering projects into food processing facilities, abattoirs and industrial manufacturing sites.
They are seeking a commercially strong Estimator who wants more than just desk-based pricing — someone who can price the work and then stay involved through delivery.
This is ideal for someone from a stainless steel or mechanical background who understands fabrication, site installation and the compliance requirements of hygienic food-grade environments.
The Role

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed take-offs
• Interpret engineering drawings and scope documents
• Price stainless steel fabrication, pipework and mechanical installations
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
• Support project delivery once awarded
• Assist with scheduling, procurement and cost tracking
• Be involved in site meetings and client communication where required

About You

• Experience estimating within stainless steel, mechanical or industrial fabrication
• Exposure to food processing or abattoir projects highly regarded
• Able to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Keen to stay involved in projects beyond tender stage
