We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Pump Technician & Retail Sales Support. This is a diverse role involving diagnosing, repairing, and installing pumps and accessories in the workshop, in the field, and supporting customers in-store.

About the Role:
As a Pump Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of pumps, including submersible, diaphragm, multistage, variable speed, and helical rotor types.
- Perform installations and service work both in the workshop and at customer sites – sometimes supervised, sometimes independently.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and company vehicle.
- Accurately complete job cards, repair documentation, and stock use records.
- Order and manage spare parts when required.
- Support stocktakes and inventory management processes.
- Provide technical sales advice and product recommendations to customers on the shop floor and over the phone.
- Notify customers when repairs are completed and ready for collection.
- Represent the business professionally, upholding a positive customer experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in pump service, installation, and repair.
- Mechanical qualification or relevant hands-on experience.
- Current Class 1 driver’s licence.
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge across multiple pump types.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, documentation, email, etc.).
- Willingness to support the retail counter and customer enquiries as required.
- Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain).
- WHS knowledge including SWMS/JSA documentation.
- Experience with field service planning and coordination.
- Experience with pump product training or certification from manufacturers.
- A stable, full-time role in a growing industry.
