About the Company:
Are you an experienced pump technician who enjoys variety in your work? Do you take pride in delivering top-quality service both on the tools and on the retail floor?

We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Pump Technician & Retail Sales Support. This is a diverse role involving diagnosing, repairing, and installing pumps and accessories in the workshop, in the field, and supporting customers in-store.

If you enjoy hands-on work, are customer-focused, and like being part of a supportive and close-knit team, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role:
As a Pump Technician, you will:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of pumps, including submersible, diaphragm, multistage, variable speed, and helical rotor types.
  • Perform installations and service work both in the workshop and at customer sites – sometimes supervised, sometimes independently.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and company vehicle.
  • Accurately complete job cards, repair documentation, and stock use records.
  • Order and manage spare parts when required.
  • Support stocktakes and inventory management processes.
As a member of the retail team, you will:
  • Provide technical sales advice and product recommendations to customers on the shop floor and over the phone.
  • Notify customers when repairs are completed and ready for collection.
  • Represent the business professionally, upholding a positive customer experience.
What We’re Looking For Essential:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in pump service, installation, and repair.
  • Mechanical qualification or relevant hands-on experience.
  • Current Class 1 driver’s licence.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge across multiple pump types.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, documentation, email, etc.).
  • Willingness to support the retail counter and customer enquiries as required.
Desirable:
  • Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain).
  • WHS knowledge including SWMS/JSA documentation.
  • Experience with field service planning and coordination.
  • Experience with pump product training or certification from manufacturers.
What’s in It for You
  • A stable, full-time role in a growing industry.
  • Variety of work – no two days are the same.
  • Opportunity to work both on the tools and with customers.
  • Supportive team culture with regular team meetings and training opportunities.
  • Company vehicle for field work.
  • Exposure to a wide range of pump systems and applications.
