About the Company:
My client specializes in water solutions, focusing on designing, supplying, installing, and maintaining irrigation, pump, and filtration systems. My client are dedicated to addressing the evolving landscape of water management across Australia. With business expansion and growth in our region, we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team and lead by example.

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, your main responsibility will involve diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing various irrigation, pump, and filtration equipment for our clientele. This includes but is not limited to diagnosing issues, devising effective solutions, executing necessary works on-site or in-store, completing all relevant paperwork, managing materials and parts procurement, coordinating external jobs with other team members and managers, and providing technical advice and sales support both in-store and over the phone.

Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of pump types and the ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions and repairs. ·
  • Completed various technical pumps courses on offer from manufacturers, together with certificates of completion.
  • Demonstrate understanding of WHS principals and ability to complete WHS documentation, such as SWMS’, JSA’s.
  • Understanding of SOP’s.
  • POS and other computer skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrate & understand competent document control.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Prepared to follow company policies.
  • Work in small team environment and be part of that team.
  • Be willing to travel for training and work when required, sometimes requiring over- night stays.
  • Wear required uniform and present a neat and tidy appearance, including clean field equipment and vehicles.
  • Be flexible with working hours if required, including some weekends. 
  • Contribute ideas to improving aspects of the role and business.

Qualifications 
  • Mechanical qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Restricted electrical license required or the ability to attain.
  • Class 1 driver license.
  • Minimum 3 years pump installation and repair experience
