QA Officer – Night Shift

Outer Western Sydney (St Clair region)

Join a leading food manufacturer operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in Sydney’s west. We’re looking for a hands-on QA Officer to take ownership of quality and food safety across night shift operations.
If you enjoy being on the floor, solving problems, and driving standard, this is a true end-to-end QA role.

The role: You’ll work closely with production, leading quality and food safety initiatives while ensuring compliance across the site.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining Food Safety & Quality Systems
  • Driving GMP compliance and continuous improvement
  • Internal audits + supporting external audits
  • Managing non-conformances, CAPAs, and investigations
  • Customer complaint investigations + root cause analysis
  • Supporting production, trials, and new product launches
  • Monitoring quality trends and improving performance
  • QA documentation, SOP updates, and reporting
  • Sampling, testing, and basic lab support
  • Training operators on quality standards
About you:
  • Experience in food manufacturing QA
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP & GMP
  • Confident communicator who can influence on the floor
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Relevant Food Science qualification (preferred)
Location: St Clair region (Outer Western Sydney) – must be within a reasonable commuting distance.
