Austcorp Executive are partnering with a leading OEM that specialise in the design and manufacture bulk material handling components. This company is a global leader within their field working throughout the Australian and International mining markets.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring that the companies product and practices meet and exceed the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. The Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and health & Safety working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

As the Quality Manager your day-to-day will include but not be limited to:
  • Ensure all practices and products comply with company standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and Manage Internal Audit Programs.
  • Manage and implement Health, Safety, environment and compliance related tasks, systems, procedures and strategy.
  • Coordinate HSEQ documentation to relevant personnel including safety plans, SOPS, risk registers, training registers etc.
  • Conduct site inductions for contractors, visitors and new staff.
  • Implement a safety first culture and conduct regular training and improvement sessions
A little bit about you:
  • 3+ Years in a QHSE Role / Quality Manager position in a manufacturing or mining environment
  • Completion of Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety or similar
  • Computer literacy skills (Experience with PRONTO highly regarded)
  • Comprehensive knowledge EHS Standards: Federal, State and Local Legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders and all levels of the business
