AUSTCORP is seeking an experienced quarry allocator and weighbridge operator for a busy team in Stapylton! 

Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, this role is best suited to a highly organised individual with outstanding communication skills with the ability to work autonomously. You will be responsible for allocation and directing trucks, operating the weighbridge and managing product coming and going from the quarry 

Responsibilities: 

• Accurately monitor and allocate trucks as required.

• Operate computerised weighbridge system and other work-related systems

• Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace.

• Comply with safety instructions relating to personnel entering site and communication.

• Entering of jobs into weighbridge and deactivating old jobs

• Assist with all general administrative/quarry tasks as required.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Provide a high level of administration to the Management team particularly with reporting and meeting deadlines

• Ability to communicate with external and internal customers and stakeholders.

• Be very organised, have great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Current drivers licence

• Experience in administration and logistics operations

• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision

• Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organisation skills.

• Previous Weighbridge experience is highly valued

On Offer are excellent hourly rates, 10 hours shifts Monday to Friday and optional Saturday work! This role has a pathway to fulltime permanent work for the right person!
