Job description


We're seeking experienced and confident Registered Nurses to work across Primary Health Care settings – from rural clinics to outreach community care settings. If you’re passionate about community health, prevention, and hands-on nursing, we want to hear from you.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care including triage, health assessments, wound care, immunisations, and chronic disease management
  • Respond to acute presentations in remote or low-resource settings
  • Support health promotion, education, and preventative care strategies
  • Collaborate with GPs, Aboriginal Health Workers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to protocols

Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Triage experience in a clinical or urgent care setting
  • Current ALS (Advanced Life Support) and PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Minimum  of 3 years experience in Primary Health, Community, or Rural Nursing
  • Police Check and full immunisation compliance
  
Desirable:
  • Remote area nursing or outreach experience
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations
