The Role:
I am looking for a driven Transport Safety Specialist to take the lead in strengthening safety standards and governance across Pacific operations. This is a standalone role that is about ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport activities while supporting teams and partners to deliver best practices.

Salary package

• $100,000 - $115,000 base DOE
• 10% bonus

What you’ll do

• Develop and manage transport safety frameworks across multiple sites and regions.
• Carry out audits and inspections, follow through on findings, and embed practical solutions.
• Support road safety initiatives with both internal teams and external transport providers.
• Plan and deliver training programs that build capability and awareness in transport safety.
• Oversee risk assessments and put in place effective controls to reduce hazards.
• Act as a key contact point during transport incidents and lead investigations when needed.
• Work with providers and customers to ensure expectations are clear and compliance is maintained.
• Lead response activities during significant transport events.

What I’m looking for:

• Solid background in transport, logistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, or quality systems.
• Experience in managing risks and applying transport legislation.
• Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in.
• High attention to detail and confident reporting skills.
• A mindset focused on making practical improvements and driving results.
