The Company:
My client is a reputable OEM of separation equipment. The company’s products are used in a wide variety of applications across a diverse range of industries including: food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, petrochemical, mining & minerals processing, municipal water and wastewater. Due to significant year on year growth and profitability they require an experienced sales engineer either based from their Sydney office, or potentially working from their home office in another location within Australia.
The role:
An attractive remuneration package with bonus scheme will be provided which is commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience, capabilities and achievement + Super and Car or Car Allowance

The role:
- This newly created role and the incumbent will contribute to the successful execution and achievement of sales targets associated with the company growth goals.
- Capital Equipment Sales to end user customers, contractors, consultants etc. including both public and private companies and government organisations.
- Preparation of quotations including detailed and formal tenders
- Demonstrating the equipment to customers through trials at pilot or full scale
- Participation in Exhibitions, Conferences, industry events
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience with any mechanical/industrial equipment or component
- A high achiever in selling machinery or capital equipment valued from $100K - >$1M will be highly regarded.
- Engineering qualification a must.
- Must be a highly organised individual a high level of computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication, phone manner and writing skills
- You must be an Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident with an Australian driver’s licence.
