Sales Engineer – Warehouse Automation, Conveyor & Sortation Solutions

A leading provider of conveyor, sortation, and intralogistics solutions in Australia is experiencing significant growth and is looking to expand their team with an experienced Sales Engineer.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will drive sales across Australia by developing relationships with customers, engineers, and re-sellers. You will provide technical support, prepare proposals and tenders, negotiate contracts, and contribute to project delivery. Your focus will be on selling end-to-end solutions for conveyor systems, pallet handling, and sortation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers and engineering partners.
  • Provide high-level technical and commercial support to clients.
  • Develop conveyor system concepts and designs that meet specifications, throughput, and client requirements.
  • Prepare tenders, proposals, and technical documentation for client presentation.
  • Negotiate contracts and assist in project management.
Selection Criteria
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling and designing end-to-end carton and pallet handling solutions.
  • Proven track record in a sales role within warehouse automation, intralogistics, or materials handling.
  • Sound knowledge of conveyors, pallet systems, and sortation equipment.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and design capability.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, results-driven, and professional.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office; basic AutoCAD skills desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence.
