Their16,000m² site spans seven sheds, each dedicated to key processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, CNC press braking, 3D tube laser processing, machining, fabrication, and surface treatments.
About the Role:
Due to substantial growth, we are now seeking a motivated Sales Estimator with a Sheet Metal Fabrication background to join this dynamic team supporting quoting, customer account management, and project delivery across their manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role sits at the intersection of technical understanding, pricing, sales and customer service, playing a key part in maintaining strong client relationships and delivering accurate, timely quotations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotes and tenders within agreed timeframes
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to scope requirements
- Develop new sales opportunities within our targeted markets (Transport, Rail, Defence, Construction & Mining)
- Apply sound estimating principles, margins, and pricing structures within M1 ERP System
- Support order progression, delivery commitments, and customer updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Trade qualified in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in sales, estimating, or quoting within manufacturing
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Confident with computers and estimating systems
- Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently or in a team
- Stable, well-established manufacturing business
