Position Objective:

As a Senior Building Coordinator, across both pre-site and on-site duties, you will be responsible for guiding wholesale investor partners and channel clients through their new home build process from start to finish.

Ensuring that the clients receive top-tier support, proactive communication and a personalised service, fostering trust and satisfaction. You will do this by working closely with internal and external teams to ensure all activities are coordinated in a timely and proficient manner in line with company standards.

The role works on the wholesale side of the business, working closely with sales channel partners. There is no customer contact in this role. 

The Senior Building Coordinator is also responsible for the administration of residential construction builds from sales accept through to completion. Through collaboration with key stakeholders, the role ensures the achievement of business objectives while fostering a customer-focused team culture and streamlining processes to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Ensure all jobs from File Accept to Site Start meet timeframe expectations.
  • Prepare and submit applications for building permits, developer approvals, and other required documentation
  • Liaise with councils, building surveyors, and relevant authorities to track permit progress and resolve issues
  • Provide essential administrative support to the Construction team and assist in obtaining occupancy permits, ensuring all documentation is in place for final inspections.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring clients are regularly updated on the status of their project, both pre-site and on-site, during the building process
  • Attending and contributing to regular workflow meetings, providing accurate updates and collaborating with team members
  • Produce regular, accurate forecasts for the Head of Operations
  • Disciplined usage of Framework and other group workflow tools and programs
  • Ensure compliance with all systems and processes
  • Support team members in scheduling and actioning relevant requirements to maximise workflow and achieve targets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational processes.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a 'pre-site' and/or 'on-site' customer service role for clients building a new home with a home building company.
  • Pre-Site experience is a pre-requisite for this role, where continued training will be provided for the 'on-site' component of the role
  • You have a high emphasis on Customer Service
  • Sound knowledge of volume-building operational processes
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Construction Industry knowledge and experience
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Driven with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
