Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Produce and review accurate technical drawings across sales and pre-construction stages
• Ensure all plans comply with council, State Environmental Planning Policies, NCC, Australian Standards, and company policies
• Provide feedback, mark-ups, and final drafting checks for internal and external drafting teams
• Document all variations and ensure they are charged and recorded correctly
• Collaborate with internal teams including drafting, estimating, construction, permits, and sales
• Liaise with external consultants such as structural engineers, surveyors, and hydraulic engineers
• Mentor and support the drafting team to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Analyse building specifications and provide technical advice to ensure compliance with regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications in building design, architectural technology, or equivalent
• Residential drafting experience (intermediate to advanced) using Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and State Environmental Planning Policies
• Experience in residential construction or project home environments
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants professionally
