Senior Asset Manager to lead a team supporting long-term service delivery through routine / reactive maintenance and lifecycle management across a state-wide portfolio
  
Opportunity to join a leading firm; desired is a skilled and customer-orientated Senior Asset Management specialist to lead a team supporting State-wide asset management planning – routine / reactive maintenance and lifecycle replacements.

Base Criteria

Holding an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree, with 10+ years Asset Management experience, along with strong interpersonal relationship development skills. You will hold extensive experience in asset lifecycle management including long-term service delivery and lifecycle planning. You will have a background in Asset Management gained ideally in the Utilities, Defence, FMCG or Resources sectors along with a strong understanding of technology-enabled asset management.

Outline Duties / Knowledge
Support their ongoing delivery of market-leading services and projects, by providing class-leading asset specific lifecycle strategies focused on moving from a Reactive, to Planned and ultimately Predictive Maintenance strategy allowing effectively Life-cycle planning.
 
Key to this role is the ability to innovate, set-up a new system, undertake change management and influence stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes 
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing the delivery of asset management and lifecycle analysis within Engineering services supporting Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Defence, Hospitals, Government or Complex Industrial premises.
  • Strong Engineering skills (M&E/HVAC) with the ability to lead teams undertaking long-term asset planning and management strategies.
  • An excellent communicator, with strong English skills – including negotiation, influencing and change management.
  • Solid experience in leading teams undertaking the scheduling of Routine Maintenance, Updating CMMS with Reactive Maintenance calls, Planning Lifecycle Asset Management strategies (1, 3, 5, 10 year) and ensuring urgent maintenance or support requests are logged and attended to in a timely manner.
  • Strong systems knowledge at a management level on CMMS systems such as: - SAP, Mex, Maximo, Pronto, or a similar CMMS
  • Solid awareness of Asset planning and Analysis software and technology-enabled asset management to ensure continuous improvement of processes and outcomes.
