Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of customised transport equipment based out of Western Australia serving the mining, agricultural, chemical and general freight industries. 

Our client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer on a full time basis who will be responsible for the full designing process of a number of different heavy transport equipment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manager the Design and Development of unique trailer designs in relation to the clients needs and relevant legislation.
• Structural FEA and fatigue analysis.
• Creation of well-written engineering reports and other supporting documentation.
• Providing support to shop-floor staff
• Liaison with suppliers and clients

Experience required

• Experience within Trailer Industry (Highly Regarded)
• Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Experience of mechanical design and FEA analysis using a leading 3D CAD package (Inventor Preferred)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and provide accurate updates throughout the design process
