About the Company
We are partnering with an OEM in the mining, equipment, technology and services industry (METS) who manufacture heavy automated mobile machinery, used for large scale exploration projects around the world.
About the Role
We are actively recruiting for a Controls & Automation / Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in RC drilling rigs for their team in Perth. This person will contribute to the whole manufacturing process from design through to commissioning, exercising their mechanical, electrical, software skills.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: Generous renumeration package commensurate with skills and experience.
Location: Perth, WA

About the Role
We are actively recruiting for a Controls & Automation / Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in RC drilling rigs for their team in Perth. This person will contribute to the whole manufacturing process from design through to commissioning, exercising their mechanical, electrical, software skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, testing and automating heavy mobile equipment
- Preparation of technical documentation, compliance and project management
- Site travel, when required, for commissioning, testing and troubleshooting (Site Uplifts Provided)
- Tertiary qualification in mechatronics or control systems engineering
- Heavy mobile equipment experience (Drill Rigs and/or equivalent mining machinery).
- Experience managing automation projects in manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy machinery.
- PLC Programming (Structured Text preferred) including Codesys expertise.
- Highly competitive renumeration package including site uplifts
