The Company:

An award-winning and highly established custom home building company, due to continued growth are looking to hire an experienced senior new home building sales consultant to join their growing sales team based in one of the company's display homes in Werribee. 

Purpose of the role:

The primary responsibility of the Senior New Home Expert is to facilitate the
sale of custom or collection range homes and to guide clients through the home
building journey. This role involves understanding clients' visions, conducting design consultations, and ensuring smooth collaboration with our design and construction teams.

Full Time. 38-hour week, 30min lunch break.
Saturday to Wednesday
10am–6pm (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Client Collaboration and Design Development:

• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements for their custom home to ensure their vision is realised in the final design.
• Gain an understanding of clients' budgets to propose designs within specified financial parameters.
• Collaborate closely with the estimating team to comprehend construction and engineering aspects, ensuring economically efficient designs.
• Develop detailed hand sketches and conceptual drawings to visualise design ideas.
• Collaborate with the companies in house architects to develop and refine clients' individual brief.
• Conduct on-site visits, assess property information and other relevant factors.
• Work with our architect and permits coordinator to ensure compliance with residential building codes, regulations, and town planning requirements.

Sales Process Management:
• Accurately record new enquiry details into our systems.
• Facilitate meetings. Prepare and present detailed design concepts from Architect, including visualisations of external facades and floorplan details, ensuring clients' expectations are met.
• Provide accurate preliminary costings, continuously aligning the project with clients' budgets.
• Guide clients through the signing of preliminary agreements/contracts, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Set targets and produce weekly reports.

Admin and Documentation:
• Provide client files to the Operations team with accuracy, quality and attention to detail, completing all pre-construction paperwork to meet deadlines and ensuring all client applications and database records and files are up to date.

Interior Design Consultation:
• Coordinate and book colour and electrical consultations with external suppliers
• Assist clients in finalising design elements and finishes, ensuring they meet both the vision and financial parameters.

Sales Activity:
• Source and identify potential sales opportunities with new clients. Understand and assess client needs and provide suitable solutions.
• Produce effective and consistent conversion of new enquiry to new home contracts.
• Actively promote the companies various products and services and continually explore business development opportunities.

Relationship Building:
• Ensure an exceptionally high level of client service is delivered at all times.
• Ensure a positive client experience by setting precise expectations and informing clients accurately on the home building process.

Display Home Management:
• Ensure outstanding presentation standards are maintained in your display home.
• Provide “in depth” display home tours, educating clients on our design philosophy and focusing on their needs.
• Display excellence in professionalism, communication and service at all times with all clients, internal and external stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

• Passionate about good design, with expertise in Drafting, Architecture,
Interior Design, or Construction.
• Detail-oriented, translating client visions into design concepts, skilled in
hand sketching.
• Proficient in building requirements, specialising in knockdown rebuild and
custom home projects.
• Strong client relationship management, empathetic, and skilled in high-level
client engagement techniques.
• Creative problem solver, adept at thinking outside the box, excellent
communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong time management, driven, and self motivated.
• Proven track record in managing and achieving budgets.
