The Opportunities:

An award-winning and highly established residential home building company due to extensive growth are now hiring an experienced Production Estimator to join their busy estimating team. 

Primary focus of this role will be 80% medium density, multi-unit residential new home builds and 20% Greenfields/KDRB in Retail. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue ETS/over-run POs
• Review quotes and allocate suppliers
• Complete bill of quantities
• Undertake BOQ checks
• Issue purchase orders and documentation to relevant trade/supplier
• Maintain trade/supplier pricing
• Undertake material/labour comparisons
• Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved
• Provide margin reports
• Ensure jobs are cost effective and profitable
• Assist in Workflow of jobs in production

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an estimating role
• Previous experience within the home building industry is preferred
• Databuild experience is highly desirable 
• Qualification in Building/Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and desire to succeed
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Exceptional time management skills
• Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
