Job description
Austcorp Executive are partnering with a company that specialises in the service, repair and distribution of prime movers and heavy transport equipment for the haulage and mining industries in Western Australia to help them recruit a Service Manager for their Perth workshop.
This role will be responsible for managing labor hours and resources, managing financial performance of the workshop, mentoring service advisors and ensuring a clean environment and efficient work practices are adhered to and will be reporting into the WA Service Manager.

This role will be responsible for managing labor hours and resources, managing financial performance of the workshop, mentoring service advisors and ensuring a clean environment and efficient work practices are adhered to and will be reporting into the WA Service Manager.
As the Service Manager your duties will be but not limited to:
- Oversee the Service and Repair department for Prime Movers (Kenworth, DAF, Etc)
- Ensure that all checklists and service job reports are submitted in a timely manner
- Issue repair estimates in a timely manner to ensure additional work is correctly estimated and communicated to Service Advisors.
- Implement standardized quality control processes and customer service standards
- Liaise with clients and OEMs
- Manage and update companies electronic maintenance system
- Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and management of sound employee relations and safety practices
- Responsible for ensuring the highest practicable standards in health and safety in the workplace
- Promote a strong safety culture within the organization
A bit about you:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Proven experience in Service / Workshop Leadership role working with Prime Movers (Kenworth, DAF highly regarded)
- Professional Qualification in Leadership and Management (Highly Desirable)
- Strong leadership capabilities with ability to influence and motivate teams across multiple locations
- Results-driven mindset with focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
