Service Manager (HVACR) - Karratha

This national organisation, operating Australia-wide is seeking a HVACR Service / Area Manager to lead their client service delivery across a number of key Pilbara contracts from a Karratha base (Must live local or be willing to relocate).

This is an operational role supporting stakeholders and managing Electricians, Fire Technicians, Handypeople and HVAC Technicians undertaking a mix of Service, Maintenance, Repairs and Minor Works Projects to Commercial Buildings, Shopping Centres, Supermarkets, Utility Providers and Government premises.

The Service Manager will lead staff management and OHS / Risk mitigation strategies, oversee administration staff and undertake weekly / monthly reporting, ensure KPI’s are met and assist hands-on when required.
  

Base Criteria
You will ideally be qualified in an HVAC&R trade along with 4+ years’ experience as a Service Manager / Supervisor overseeing a team of 8+ mobile technicians.


Outline Duties
Operationally manage the Maintenance Trades Service delivery within Contractual KPI’s, Budgets, Corporate OHS and to client expectations, while undertaking Client Stakeholder Engagement, staff and sub-contractor management and reporting to head-office.
  

Skills and Attributes
  • Trade qualification in HVAC&R
  • Over 4 years’ experience as a Service Manager / Supervisor
  • Strong P&L skills, Stakeholder Engagement and Management
  • An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions and liaise with clients
  • Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
