Job description

The Company:
A privately owned, Australian Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company. They were established over 30 years ago, and have kicked goals in the industry ever since. Their bread and butter is light commercial & residential apartments but they also work within some domestic settings as well. They are a close knit team of 25 staff in Sydney and are now looking for a Service Leader to join the business.
  
The Role:
This is a multi-faceted role across both Service Supervision and Service Administration and is expected to be both onsite and in the office. As such there will be a huge variety in day to day activities but could involve:

  • Managing jobs from establishment to handover - from small scale one off domestic work, to large scale residential project work.
  • Assisting both Service, Installation and Commissioning teams when required - mostly in the Summer (i.e. on the tools)
  • Quotations on repairs, upgrades and replacements
  • Spare parts management including factory liaison
  • Supervise Technicians onsite to ensure smooth and consistent service and project delivery
  • Technical support to clients, technicians and contractors
  
The Person
  • Trade Qualified in HVAC / Refrigeration
  • Experience as a Supervisor, Manager or Senior Technician - i.e. leading junior staff and service technicians
  • Track record of tenure and commitment to previous roles
  • Experience in light commercial and residential HVAC
