About the role:
We are seeking a Pump Service Technician / Maintenance Fitter to join our clients busy Mackay based team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps and fluid handling equipment. You will work both independently and as part of a team, and will be responsible for ensuring that their customers' equipment is operating at peak efficiency.

Job Overview:

• Engage in pump repair, maintenance, and assessment tasks
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting activities
• Perform component restoration work
• Maintain detailed service records
• Undertake on-site/field and workshop-based duties

About you:

• Technically adept, hands-on, and adept at problem-solving
• Dependable, reliable, and a team-oriented individual
• Physically fit for tasks involving manual handling
• Adherence to OH&S standards and commitment to safe work procedures
• Hold a current Australian driver’s license
• Previous experience with pumps would be advantageous
• Light Rigid truck license is preferred, though not mandatory
• Desirable experience in water treatment processes
