About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in servicing and maintaining a wide range of water infrastructure, both on-site and in the workshop. This role offers variety, technical challenge, and the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced equipment in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pump, irrigation, and filtration systems
- Disassembling and inspecting pumps, motors, and components for faults
- Commissioning and testing variable speed drives and motor control systems
- Providing quality service and support at customer sites and in-house
- Preparing accurate service documentation and reports
- Maintaining safe and efficient work practices
- Mechanical or electrical trade qualification
- Experience with pumps, hydraulics, or water systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, practical approach
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with service reporting tools or SAP a plus
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
