About the role:
We are looking for a Pump Service Technician / Maintenance Fitter to join our client’s busy team in Mackay. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of pumps and fluid handling equipment. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring that customers' equipment operates at optimal efficiency.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Pump repair, maintenance, and assessment
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Component restoration
• Documentation of service records
• On-site, field, and workshop-based tasks

Key Criteria:

• Proven hands-on experience with various pump technologies and associated plant.
• Experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, set-up, and installation.
• Compliance with OH&S documentation, etc.
• Effective prioritization and organization of work.
• Computer literacy and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret parts lists, repair manuals, technical drawings, and operating procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to persevere with challenging tasks.
• Focused on quality and safety.
• Adherence to all company standards, site regulations, and policies.
