Job description

Primary Purpose
 
To perform photo lab/Minilab and related equipment installations, provide comprehensive technical backup and after-sales support, as well as efficiently resolve breakdowns and equipment failures with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction across the QLD territory (80% Brisbane metro, 20% regional)

Objectives
  • Equipment service & installation-
  • - Receive service calls from the Service Coordinator regarding customers facing technical difficulties.
  • - Address operator issues over the phone whenever feasible.
  • - Visit customer sites to efficiently and securely complete repairs.
  • - Perform preventive maintenance services following manufacturer standards.
  • - Plan and execute installation tasks.
  • - Verify spare parts availability for installations or repairs.
  • - Coordinate delivery of parts and consumables, aligning with travel schedules.
  • - Offer basic skills training to customers and direct them to training officers for formal instruction.
  • - Ensure thorough completion and submission of service and installation documentation, including the ordering and returning of parts.
  • Provide technical support
  • - Sustain technical expertise by engaging in ongoing personal study of products and actively participating in the company training programs.
  • - Address technical inquiries from both the sales staff and customers, facilitating comprehension and offering solutions.
  • - Contribute sales leads to the sales team and actively promote company products.
  • - Apply company policies and procedures as documented relating to this role
  • - Initiate recommendations to change a policy or procedure as outlined in the company Quality/EM Policy
  • - Initiate FIO forms to fulfill the company's Corrective Action system
  • - Be aware of, and adhere to all relevant Fujifilm OH&S procedures. If working at customer sites. Ensure that any procedures put in place by the customer are followed
Competencies & requirements
  1. Strong communication ability both internally and with customers
  2. Operates autonomously in the execution of regular, routine assignments within a delimited scope of work.
  3. Demonstrates the capacity to undertake tasks outside the standard routine within their designated field, following precise instructions and guidance from superiors.
  4. Possesses an ample degree of knowledge and expertise necessary for the accurate and satisfactory completion of assigned tasks.
  5. Full Australian driver’s license
  6. Full working rights
  7. QLD restricted electrical licence or similar (preferred but not essential)
