Outline Duties
  • Implement and Maintain Safety Management Plans across a complex portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
  • Ensure all work conducted is performed in a safe manner and adheres to legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Apply suitable frameworks and documentation for works
  • Conduct accident / incident including ICAM investigations and reporting
  
Base Criteria, Skills and Attributes 
  • 6+ years SHEQ experience, dealing with senior management
  • Certificate IV in OHS
  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements: - ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
  • Elevating SHEQ culture in the workplace
  • ICAM incident investigation training (Desirable)
  • Justice, Immigration or Correctional industry experience
  • Contractor and subcontractor safety management experience
  • Able to build strong relationships with Management, Trades, Stakeholders and Safety Regulators
  • Be able to pass an NPC and additional Background Checks
  • Australian Drivers’ Licence
