My client is seeking a Senior Site Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract, based on Multiple sites in Melbourne VIC. They are a world-leading provider of supply chain automation and warehouse management. Operating on a global scale in multiple industry sectors, their innovative concepts and solutions are second to none.
The Role
Major responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of automation projects, from instillation, commissioning to meet the clients warehouse specifications.
- Direct streamlined communication with the customer, subcontractors to ensure maximum synergy between the maintenance of the automated system(s).
- Ensure that all activities across site are delivered to the highest Safety Standards and practices.
- Responsible of the delivery of project, commissioned to full production with contract schedule, budget and quality.
The Ideal Candidate
- Substantial technical and management experience in the logistics automation and material handling domain
- Experience in managing large warehouse automated projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent relationship builder and ability to manage and motivate a team of experienced sub-contractors
- Excellent initiative and ability to lead by example
- Must have a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering Qualification.
- High level of integrity and ability to speak up when needed.
