Their Australian operation is built around state-of-the-art distribution centres that combine warehousing, immersive showrooms and dynamic sales hubs delivering exceptional service and support to architects, designers, builders, fabricators and retailers.
With strong global backing and continued growth across the APAC region, they are seeking a commercially astute State Sales Manager to lead their multi-site sales and distribution operations.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take full ownership of sales performance, profitability and operational excellence across multiple distribution centres within your state.
This is a leadership role suited to a driven sales professional who thrives on building teams, strengthening customer relationships and executing strategic growth initiatives in a competitive A&D market.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, leading sales teams, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience that reinforces our market position.

About You
You are a commercially driven sales leader with strong business acumen and the ability to inspire high performance across distributed teams. You bring a minimum of 5+ years’ sales experience from within the architectural products industry, and 2+ years leading and developing sales teams.
You are financially literate with experience managing budgets, revenue targets and profitability metrics. You are confident using CRM systems (Salesforce highly regarded) and have exposure to ERP or order management platforms such as SAP.
Degree qualified in Business or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications advantageous), you combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, strong stakeholder engagement skills and the drive to deliver sustained commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Growth
- Grow sales and distribution across all product categories within your state
- Drive promotional activity including showroom displays and point-of-sale initiatives
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Manage and develop relationships with key customers, distributors and national accounts
- Partner with head office on regional marketing and co-branding initiatives
- Track major projects to support commercial development
- Develop and manage annual budgets (revenue & expenses)
- Monitor centre performance including billing, profitability, product mix and commercial segment growth
- Ensure operational efficiency and service excellence across all locations
- Lead, mentor and develop multi-site sales teams
- Build strong relationships with regional fabricators and trade partners
- Ensure compliance with national account agreements
- Champion health & safety standards
- Support talent development and succession planning
- Maintain regular communication with regional leadership
