We are looking for a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist with experience in electronics manufacturing and/or similar industry. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the supply chain and procurement to ensure a reliable supply of materials and accurate inventory levels to enable continuity of manufacturing.
Working as part of a small team, the ability to work on different tasks simultaneously whilst effectively prioritising the workload will be a key skill set. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work with a talented group of people within an innovative technology company.

About The Role:
- Analysis of Supply Chain risks and operational data to ensure effective Purchasing performance.
- Development and maintenance of strong supplier relationships.
- Rapidly communicate any upcoming supply shortfalls.
- Negotiating contract terms and pricing.
- Maintain systems with purchasing updates and time schedules.
- Provide updates to engineering and manufacturing on delivery dates of inventory.
- Manage rescheduling requests in line with supply chain strategy.
- Manage inventory, lead times, and minimum/maximum stock levels.
- Covering purchasing staff when they are out of the office.

Additional key attributes for this position include:
- Relevant education and qualifications relating to logistics, procurement, or supply chain.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience, ideally with experience liaising with offshore suppliers.
- Experience in procurement of electronics is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy and the ability to work proactively and autonomously.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Collaborative skills in resolving understocked and overstocked inventory positions.
- Strong knowledge and experience using inventory management software.
- Highly developed commercial and analytical skills with an ability to remain focused on outputs.
- A positive can-do attitude, with a passion to see jobs through to completion and problem-solving skills.
