My client in an international electronics provider, with over 12000 employee and operating in 70 locations worldwide, they now seek an experienced System Engineer to join their team of professionals in Sydney.
The Role:
- Developing and designing the communications subsystems architecture in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards;
- Setting to work and testing of UHF, VHF and HF radio communication systems and voice switching systems;
- Documenting the communication systems in the design documents, user manuals and training materials;
- Delivering technical equipment specifications for communication subsystems;
- Installing communication subsystems;
- Providing in-service support of previously delivered systems;
- Participating in tender support activities.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Communications
- 5 years or more experience in system engineering preferably in an ATC communications environment;
- Must come with experience working in the defence industry as a Systems Engineer
- Experience and product knowledge in radio communications and voice switching systems;
- Good understanding of engineering processes and tools;
- Structured approach to projects;
- Must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to obtain Australian Security Clearance.
