Job description
We are partnering with a large infrastructure organisation looking for a Technical Supervisor in WA to deliver maintenance services across federal government sites, ensuring building services plant and equipment is reliable safe, compliant, and fully operational.
The Role
Lead and coordinate maintenance operations, optimising asset performance while leading and managing a small team and ensuring full compliance with best practice and legislative requirements.

The Role
Lead and coordinate maintenance operations, optimising asset performance while leading and managing a small team and ensuring full compliance with best practice and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of up to 12 trades.
- You will manage maintenance services, repair and minor works to $1 million.
- Actively contribute to and support business transformation initiatives.
- Ensure accurate alignment of work orders with timesheets and reporting systems.
- Oversee contractor safety and compliance, including SWMS and adherence to the company’s Risk Protocols.
- Proactively manage team and contractor performance, monitoring and driving key monthly KPIs.
- Maintain contractual compliance through site inspections, raising work orders or quotes as required.
- Manage client requests and feedback, delivering timely resolutions and clear communication.
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance.
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and electrical license with ARCtick.
- Strong technical knowledge across HVAC and electrical systems.
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of 12 trades.
- Strong people leadership skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Be able to travel or live in Derby, Western Australia.
