As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing technical support, and driving sales growth in both established and new markets. About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing technical support, and driving sales growth in both established and new markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Promote, market, and sell all products in line with company policies
- Identify, prospect, and convert new clients, actively sourcing business through tenders and market engagement
- Collaborate with management to forecast sales targets and implement growth strategies
- Provide technical support and solutions for projects including road construction, landfills, and coastal engineering
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors
- Attend construction sites regularly to provide on-site support and training
- Develop technical literature, case studies, and support materials for sales activities
- Ensure compliance with company quality and WHS standards
- Maintain accurate reporting and CRM/IFS data entry
- Monitor competitor activity and advise on strategies
- Proven sales experience with strong technical knowledge or related products
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; adept at building rapport and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide innovative solutions
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations internally and externally
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Industry experience with a strong understanding of product applications
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
