Territory Manager - Gynaecology & Laparoscopic Consumables - Sydney

A global medical device manufacturer with a strong presence in perioperative care is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive growth across NSW.

This is a hospital-based, theatre-focused sales role.
We are specifically looking for someone who is already working with this exact customer base and has established relationships across NSW hospitals.

This Role Will Suit You If You:
  • Currently sell into gynaecology, laparoscopic or theatre-based surgical portfolios
  • Have existing relationships with Gynaecologists, Surgeons, NUMs and Procurement
  • Understand public and private hospital buying processes
  • Are confident in theatre, supporting cases and running evaluations
  • Have a strong track record of growing consumables revenue
We are not looking to build a customer base from scratch.
We need someone who can leverage existing networks and accelerate growth quickly.
The Opportunity Based in Sydney and working within a national team, you will:
  • Drive revenue growth across both public and private hospitals
  • Expand existing accounts and open new opportunities within established hospital networks
  • Increase product penetration within current theatre users
  • Identify gaps in competitor portfolios and position our products strategically
You will work closely with sales leadership and marketing to strengthen product positioning and increase market share across NSW.
Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth & Account Expansion
  • Grow sales of gynaecology and laparoscopic consumables across NSW
  • Increase utilisation within existing hospital accounts
  • Identify new surgeons and departments to onboard
Relationship Management
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with:
    • Gynaecologists
    • General Surgeons
    • Nurse Unit Managers
    • Theatre Managers
    • Supply & Procurement Managers
Clinical Support
  • Deliver in-theatre product support
  • Coordinate and manage product trials
  • Provide hands-on product education and training
Territory & Pipeline Management
  • Maintain strong discipline in Salesforce CRM
  • Forecast accurately and manage pipeline effectively
  • Prioritise high-impact activity to drive consistent growth
Experience Required
  • 3–5+ years successful medical device sales experience
  • Direct experience selling into NSW public and/or private hospitals
  • Strong exposure to gynaecology and/or laparoscopic surgical portfolios
  • Existing hospital relationships that can be leveraged immediately
  • Comfortable working in theatre environments
  • Clinical background in theatre highly regarded
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
  • Structured, process-driven sales approach
This role requires someone who understands hospital dynamics, can navigate procurement pathways and confidently engage clinical stakeholders.
