About the Role
Your role will be to sell and promote the business' Diagnostic OR Surgical product portfolio within your territory, ensuring product opportunities are identified for other company sales team members within your territory.
This will involve developing strong client working relationships, ensuring your clients gain your trust and confidence with you and our company brands.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Efficient Territory Management: Strategy, planning, monitoring, reporting, implementing organised calls and smart travel plans.
- Visiting regular clients and prospective businesses to establish selling opportunities.
- Networking within the larger Australia and NZ customer base.
- Assessing customer needs and recommend products accordingly, providing quotes and technical information as required.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with clients.
- Communicating with customers to ensure entire solutions are met in an effective and efficient manner.
- Liaising with customers and staff to manage the delivery, installation, setup and training of products sold to customers.
- Gaining and improving sales within your territory.
- Monitoring customers changing needs, competitor activity and report on developments to relevant internal staff.
- Company reporting and customer care.
About You
- Sales Management / Business / Health / Ophthalmic related qualification OR Ophthalmic knowledge with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- An ability to work collaboratively within multiple teams
- An ability to understand and disseminate technical information to others
- Demonstrated ability to plan, travel and work flexibly
- Demonstrated flexibility in approach and attitude
- Organisation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Honesty, reliability and commitment
