This leading international organisation is well-renowned and plays an active role within the Local and Wider AU / NZ Communities managing and delivering services to a mix of key and iconic facilities. This role supports a high-profile contract; with a large and diverse staff mix undertaking a range of Daily Maintenance, Cleaning, Grounds, Minor Replacement Works, Refurbishments as well as Capital Project Works.
Base Criteria
Ideally Trade or Tertiary-qualified with at least 5 years’ Facilities Management, Maintenance or Cleaning industry staff planning, scheduling and task allocation experience.
Role activities
You will be responsible for forward-planning staffing levels required to undertake a range of day-to-day scheduled maintenance, cleaning, grounds, minor works and ad-hoc projects. Working with the Head of Engineering, Head of Soft Services and Operations Management, you will be fully in control of the forward planned tasks and expected staffing requirements to adequately deliver services on time and to the desired standards.
You will need strong communication, analytical and IT skills, along with the ability to forward map for planned works, but also respond to last-minute emergencies requiring additional staff or contractors at short notice to undertake storm-damage repairs, peak works or fill-in for any staff having family or Covid-19 related emergencies.

Skills and Attributes
- 8+ years’ work experience ideally with 3 years at a managerial level.
- 5+ years’ Facilities Management, Maintenance or Cleaning industry staff planning, scheduling and task allocation experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in operating Excel and a CMMS / CAFM package.
