I am partnering with an Australian owned company, who specialises in providing bespoke engineering solutions to the mining and resources sector with a strong focus across the following commodities - iron ore, lithium, mineral sands, copper and gold.

As a result of continued growth, we are actively recruiting for a Workshop - Leading Hand (Electrical) to join the team and become embedded in the tier one mining project portfolio.

As the Workshop Leading Hand your day - to - day will include but not be limited to:

• Fabrication of electrical panels, solar skids and starter modules.
• Assembly of electrical components to mechanical structures and skids.
• Wiring and terminations.
• Stock and inventory as required.
• Ensure workshop safety standards and procedures are adhered to.
• Direction of work to other staff including assistance with apprentices

A little bit about you:

• Trade certified Electrician with at least 2+ years post trade experience in similar role.
• Previous panel building experience.
• Unrestricted Electrical License is preferable.
• A working knowledge of the AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and AS/NZS 61439 standards.
• Be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams, termination drawings and general arrangement drawings accurately.
• Have a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and adherence to quality procedures.
• A willingness to commit to a workshop-based role.
